According to a Palestinian source, deposed Palestinian prime minister Isma'il Haniya and Islamic Jihad leaders have discussed a tahdiya ("calm") with Israel.
The Haniya government has also renewed its call to refrain from resistance operations against the crossing points so that Palestinian residents will not suffer economic harm.
