In a speech for Iran’s annual Qods (Jerusalem) Day, which marks Iran's aspiration to liberate Palestinian lands from Israel, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, "Iran has an international mission to stop Israel's hegemony in the Middle East."
He said, "Those who think that the [Islamic] governments must focus on [their] internal affairs are mistaken."
