Lebanese Opposition Senior Official: Saudi Arabia A Partner In Murder Of Iraqis, Lebanese

Former Lebanese MP Wiyyam Wahhab, who is close to the Syrian regime, has harshly attacked Saudi policy and Saudi King Abdallah personally, claming that the monarch was helping fund the Sunni-Shi'ite civil war in Iraq on orders from the Americans.

Wahhab said that the Saudi kingdom was a partner in the murders of Sunnis in Iraq, and was now silent in the face of the murder of Sunnis in Palestine and Afghanistan.

He further stated that Saudi Arabia had encouraged the occupation of Lebanon and the execution of Saddam Hussein, and that the Saudis were full partners of Israel during the 2006 Israel-Hizbullah war. He said: "This Saudi senior official ordered the massacre of Lebanese, and we will not forget it."
