Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation head Walter Fust has announced that Switzerland is not ruling out contacts with Hamas, including with senior officials such as former Palestinian prime minister Isma'il Haniya, in order to assure the transfer of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
A knowledgeable source said that a Swiss diplomat had gone to Gaza for contacts with Hamas on the political situation.
