A knowledgeable source in Iran's Foreign Ministry has said that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sent his letter to French President Nicolas Sarkozy without the knowledge of Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.
It is known that the letter, which was delivered directly to the French ambassador to Tehran, was written solely by Ahmadinejad and his advisor, without Foreign Ministry involvement.
