Rioting In Egypt Over Suspicion Of Muslim-Christian Sexual Relations

Hundreds of Muslims set a shop on fire in the city of Isna, Egypt, following suspicions that a Muslim girl was having a sexual relationship with two Christian youths inside it.

The crowd also smashed windows of a pharmacy where the youths worked, and handed the youths over to police and returned the girl to her family.

Security forces were deployed at the scene and near Christian homes and shops, and a partial curfew was imposed on the city.
