BEGINNING MEMRI'S SECOND DECADE-PLEASE SUPPORT OUR EFFORTS AND INITIATIVES
At this time of year, we wish to thank those of you who have already supported us, and ask those of you who have not to please consider it now. We ask you to consider the fact that the scope of MEMRI's production is incomparable. Without MEMRI’s research, the West would have no source for accurate and scholarly translations from over 100 Arabic newspapers, 90 Arabic TV channels, over 40 Iranian newspapers, 16 Iranian TV channels, 40 Turkish newspapers, and over 100 Islamist websites - all free of charge. In fact, since the beginning of 2007 MEMRI has published its translations and analyses at a record pace. This year alone, MEMRI has published nearly 300 full-length translations under our Special Dispatch project, and almost 100 analysis papers under our Inquiry & Analysis series. THIS AVERAGES OVER ONE FULL-LENGTH TRANSLATION AND/OR ANALYSIS FOR EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR (please note that MEMRI’s online archive from the past decade includes over 2,250 such reports). The MEMRI TV Project’s output has been equally impressive. So far this year, MEMRI has released close to 300 translated clips, totaling over 1,250 minutes, and adding to MEMRI TV's already extensive archives.
