Referring to Lebanon's difficulties in electing a new president, Syrian Ambassador to the U.S. 'Amad Mustafa expressed fears that "if the political process in Lebanon fails" the country will be dragged into a civil war in which Hizbullah will be involved.
He said that this would be a great national catastrophe for Syria and a victory for the enemies of the Lebanese resistance
Mustafa also stated that Lebanon's enemies were pushing it into civil war, and warned that if a president was elected by only the March 14 Forces there would be an explosion.
