Lebanese Paper: Syria Creating Border Crisis

The Lebanese daily Al-Mustaqbal reports that Syria has decided to "create a border crisis" on the pretext of beefing up oversight and checks at its border crossing with Lebanon.

The report said that there is an overload and backlog of trucks trying to bring goods into Lebanon, and that only a few trucks have been permitted to enter the country.

Lebanese forces executive body chairman Samir Geagea called this Syria's response to the Arab foreign ministers' initiative for resolving the Lebanon crisis.
