Morocco Arrests Terror Cell, Islamist Party Heads

Morocco announced that it has uncovered a terror network planning to carry out terror operations, and has arrested 23 of its members.

The man suspected of heading the organization is known as Abdelkader Belliraj.

Also arrested were two Islamist party heads, suspected of being connected to the organization: Mustapha Moatassim, secretary-general of the Al-badil Al-Hadhari party, and Mohamed Merouani, secretary-general of the Movement for the Umma.
