The Egyptian daily Al-Ahram has published a plan by Hamas to breach the Egyptian border.
The plan, from a Palestinian source, includes: shelling Egyptian outposts, firing on Egyptian soldiers, encircling Egyptian guard posts and toppling them by blowing up tunnels underneath them; and, finally, blowing up the fence.
In the framework of the preparations for the breach, a fatwa was issued by Sheikh Abd Al-Hamid Al-Kuwab of Khan Yunis permitting the killing of Egyptian soldiers if they confront the Palestinians.
Senior Al-Azhar officials said that the fatwa was against moral and religious principles and incited to civil war.
