In his talk at April 23 day-long conference in Khartoum on "The Jewish Role in Darfur," Dr. Mu'tasim Abu Al-Qassam stated that the Jews were trying to compare events in Darfur to the Holocaust.
Dr. Al-Qassam said that there was a Zionist plan for Darfur, whose main points were inflating the dimensions of the crisis, occupying Darfur, and promoting anti-Sudan resolutions in the U.N.
As evidence for his claims, he quoted one "Haim Kush," whom he said was "head of the Black Jews organization," as saying, "We aspire to see the Star of David flying over the black continent."
The conference was held jointly by the Mada Center for Social Research and the Al-Rassed Center for Strategic Research.
