The defense ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries met May 5 in Doha to discuss military cooperation among Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
The London daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat reported that these countries had already discussed the idea of a joint military.
