As the trial of dozens of detainees in the case of the May 10 attack on Khartoum by Darfur rebels opened in Sudan, an organization called the Committee for the Defense of the Rights Of the May 10 Detainees has protested.
The organization says that the trials began without giving the detainees a chance to meet with attorneys, without publishing the detainees' names, without stating where they were arrested, and without giving the reasons for their arrest.
