Cairo Schools Refuse To Accept Baha'i Students

Schools in Cairo are refusing to accept Baha'i students because the "religion" designation in their identity cards is blank.

The school principals said that they had received instructions not to accept pupils whose identity cards do not state "Muslim" or "Christian."

The parents of the pupils complained to the Education Ministry but have not yet received a response.
