Suspended Sentence For Two Christians In Algeria

A court in western Algeria has handed down a suspended six-month prison sentence and fine for two Algerian Christians, for non-Muslim missionary activity without a permit.

The two, who were arrested in April after copies of the New Testament were found in their vehicle, said that they were tried only because they were Christians.
