Sudanese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ali Sadeq said July 2 that cooperation by the Western countries and the international community is a condition for the success of the mission of Joint AU-UN Chief Mediator for Darfur Djibril Bassole.
Sadeq said that several Darfur rebels had taken refuge in Western countries and that these countries were not pressuring them to participate in the peace process.
