Yemen President Ali Abd Allah Salih yesterday declared the end of the war with the followers of rebel religious leader Abdallah Al-Huthi, but did not say how this had come about.
The war had continued for five years in the Sa'da province.
The previous day, the Yemeni Defense Ministry had called on displaced persons who had fled their homes during the clashes to return home.
