The Sudanese government has sent three senior regime officials on diplomatic missions to Middle East countries in an effort to enlist their support in dealing with the International Criminal Court's accusations of war crimes against Sudan's regime heads.
Sudanese Vice President Ali Othman Taha has gone to Libya, while Nafi' Ali Nafi', political advisor to the Sudanese president, has set out for Qatar, and presidential advisor Ghazi Alah Al-Din has gone to Iran.
Nafi' and Al-Din have given the Qatar and Iranian leaders, respectively, a personal message from Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir.
