Participants in a workshop called Preserving Public Order and Building an Independent Country, held yesterday by the March 14 Forces' general secretariat, called to remove Hizbullah's weapons from the internal Lebanese equation.
They said that the violent events in May proved that there can be no coexistence with Hizbullah's weapons, and that Lebanon cannot exist as an independent state as long as these weapons exist.
They also said that Hizbullah's weapons would make it more difficult to hold parliamentary elections in May 2009.
