Libya's General National Maritime Transportation Company has announced that it is halting oil exports to Switzerland and that it will prevent Swiss ships from entering Libyan ports.
The move is a response to the arrest of Hannibal Qaddafi, the son of Libyan Leader Mu'ammar Qaddafi, and of his wife, after a complaint of battery was filed against them by employees of a Swiss hotel.
The company and other Libyan sources threatened additional sanctions if Switzerland did not apologize to Hannibal Qaddafi, to Leader Mu'ammar Qaddafi, and to the entire Libyan people.
