The London daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat reports, citing Sudanese sources, that Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir will participate in the Turkey-Africa summit to be held in Istanbul next week.
The paper notes that this is the first time Al-Bashir will have left Sudan since the International Criminal Court began proceedings against him for war crimes in Darfur.
