A Hamas source said that Hamas has informed Egypt of a freeze in talks on the issue of Gilead Shalit and the Palestinian prisoners until Israel responds to Hamas's demands.
In this context, Abu Ubayda, spokesman for the 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's armed wing, threatened that if Israel continued to drag out the negotiations for Shalit's release, his fate would be the same as that of Ron Arad.
