Mustafa 'Azam, uncle of and attorney for Al-Qaeda No. 2 leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri, has been chosen chairman of the Egyptian opposition Labor Party, whose activity was frozen several years ago.
After being selected, Azam said that he would continue in the path of his deceased predecessor, and would adhere to the principles of the party as an Islamic revolutionary party and ally of the Muslim Brotherhood.
