At an August 21 conference in Khartoum, Sudanese Christians expressed anger at the authorities' intention to expropriate lands of Christian cemeteries in the city so that the land could be used for commercial buildings.
They also said that Sudanese authorities were not allocating land to Christians to build churches or giving airtime on radio and television for Christian religious programming, and that there was a lack of Christian studies in the official school curricula.
The conferees also called to establish a judicial system for non-Muslims in Sudan.
