Columnist for the Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar Khaled Saghiya penned harsh criticism of French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner for calling female Lebanese journalists "pretty women."
Saghiya stated that Kouchner "flirted with one of the lady journalists," calling his acts "impolite and bordering on sexual harassment." He called Kouchner a "clown" and said that he was treating the Lebanese like eternal subjects of the empire.
