The Saudi Embassy in Tehran has criticized the Iranian daily Kayhan for an item it recently published on the embassy's involvement in collecting intelligence in Iran and transferring it to the U.S. and Israel.
In a letter, the embassy expressed its disappointment at the publication of the fabricated news item, and stated that non-intervention in the internal affairs of other countries was a fundamental Saudi diplomatic principle.
