Iraqi intelligence agencies have disclosed that they have proof of that a "large country in the region" was involved in the July 2005 kidnapping and murder of Egyptian ambassador to Iraq Ihab Al-Sharif.
According to the information, which came from two Al-Qaeda leaders arrested this year, Al-Sharif angered that "country" by trying to undermine the status of its ambassador to Iraq, and by acting to bring Sunni and Shi'ite Arabs in Iraq closer together.
