The Lebanese website Now Lebanon reported that this evening a meeting is expected between senior Hizbullah officials and senior officials from the Progressive Socialist party, which is headed by Druze leader Walid Jumblatt.
The meeting is to take place at the home of Minister Talal Arsalan.
It was reported that Jumblatt informed his allies in the March 14 Forces about the meeting.
Knowledgeable sources told the website that the meeting this evening could be a 'surprise' but refused to give details.
Jumblatt said that he was open to any political reconciliation, particularly with Hizbullah leadership.
