Pelosi to Carry Message From Olmert to Al-Assad: Stop Supporting Terrorism as Condition For Negotiation on the Golan

It was announced in Jerusalem that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi will carry a message from Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. The message calls on Syria to stop supporting terrorism as a condition for negotiation with Israel about the future of the Golan Heights. Pelosi was in Israel on Sunday and will be in Damascus today.
