Report in Lebanon: Fear Of Attempts To Strike At UNIFIL

The Lebanese daily Al-Mustaqbal reports that Lebanese security apparatuses and the Lebanese army have recently received reports on intentions to strike at UNIFIL in southern Lebanon.

The paper quoted security sources as saying that in recent days the Lebanese army had taken special measures along the coast of Sidon and deployed many of its troops in the region.

It was also reported that UNIFIL had warned its soldiers not to travel on the road near the 'Ein Al-Hilweh refugee camp, and to use an alternative route.
