Libyan leader Muammar Al-Qaddafi belittled the Saudi peace initiative for the Middle East. Al-Qaddafi expects the plan to fail because the Arab leaders who stand behind it are "desperate." He said Arab leaders have no credibility and that no one takes them seriously. He alone has the capacity to deal with those who make the ultimate decisions. He mentioned China as a great power as well as the U.S. He said his country is the third great power in the world and it has the capacity to solve the problems of the Middle East. He ridiculed the Arabs as only being good at offering bribes and bakhashish. Al-Qaddafi said that they delude themselves into believing that bribes make history.
