Libyan Leader Al-Qadhafi: All Italians Must Take DNA Tests To See If They're Libyans

Libyan leader Mu'ammar Al-Qadhafi has said that it is incumbent on all Italians to take DNA tests to determine whether they are of Libyan origin, given that thousands of Libyans were expelled to Italy during Libya's occupation by Italy during the 1930s.

He said that since Italy did not wish to identify the Libyans amongst the Italian people, science would resolve the problem.
