Pakistan: Militants Blow Up Girls’ School

The Taliban militants have blown up a girls’ school, killed two people and abducted five more in Mohmand Agency, a tribal district of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan, according to a report in the Pashtu-language newspaper Wrazpanra Khabroona.

In the district, the Taliban militants have once again started operations against tribal elders and in this connection they raided the house of a pro-government tribal elder Malak Elam Shah, killing his nephew and his servant.

According to the report, the militants attacked the house of another pro-government tribal elder and picked up five people, torched the Hujra (guest house) of another tribal elder in Burhankhel area and blew up a girls’ school.
