Al-Qaeda In Iraq Uses UAV For First Time

Al-Qaeda in Iraq has used an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for the first time, in an attempted attack on the headquarters of the pro-U.S. Kurdish National Unity Party.

The attack was thwarted, but Kurdistan authorities expressed great apprehension over the technical and technological development of Al-Qaeda in Iraq's weapons.
