Turkish President Gul: "From now on nothing will stay as a secret in Turkey"

Turkish President Abdullah Gul responded to the questions of the journalists regarding the publication of a planned coup d'etat that was recently published in the Taraf newspaper. Gul said that the legal process concerning the issue was advancing towards a result and the necessary steps would be taken. He further stated that if there was something wrong, it would eventually clear up and that nothing in Turkey would stay as a secret from now on.

Gul also emphasized that these events should not divert the attention from the real issues on the agenda such as economic development in the country and the process of democratization.
