Egypt Mufti Apologizes For Urine Fatwa

Egyptian Mufti Dr. Ali Gum'a has apologized for a fatwa he issued stating that the companions of the Prophet Muhammad blessed themselves by drinking his urine.

During a discussion by the Academy for Islamic Research at Al-Azhar on the fatwa, Gum'a promised that he would remove from the market all copies of the book containing the fatwa.
