Moroccan movie wins Grand Prix of Khouribga African Festival

The Moroccan film "Zaman Al-Rifak" (Time of Camerades), produced by Mohamed Charif Tribak, won the Grand Prix Ousmane Sembène of the 12th African Film Festival of Khouribga (18-25 July).

 The film, which was produced in 2008, tells the story of a student who decided, against her parents' will, to pursue university studies.

She finds out the growing influence of Islamists in the university. A handful of union militants try to resist. Saïd engaged in a heated battle, winning the girl’s heart, but she was not prepared to seriously engage with him.
