Lebanese Daily: Syria Filed Complaint With U.N. Against Mehlis

The Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar, which is close to Syria, reports that Syria has filed a complaint to the U.N. against Detlev Mehlis, who headed the international investigative committee for the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Al-Hariri.

In the complaint, which is also against Mehlis's aide Gerhard Lehmann, Syria requested that the U.N. and the Security Council investigate the two's involvement in misleading and faking the investigation, so that it would incriminate Syria at any cost.
