Erguan: "The Visa requirements between Turkey and Egypt should end"

The visa requirements between Turkey and Egypt must end to boost trade and tourism between the two countries, said Industry and Trade Minister Nihat Ergun yesterday, speaking at the Turkey-Egypt Trade and Investment Forum held by the Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON) in Cairo. Also addressing the event, Egyptian Industry and Trade Minister Rachid Rachid said that economic relations between the two countries have made great strides over the last four years. Stating that currently more than 260 Turkish firms have $1.5 billion in investments in Egypt, he added these investments have provided jobs to some 50,000 Egyptians.
