Lebanese MP: Sever Diplomatic Ties with Libya

Shiite Lebanese MP Ayoub Hamid, member of the Amal movement, called upon Lebanon to sever its diplomatic ties with Libya, not merely to boycott the Arab League summit to take place there in late March. Hamid asked how the Arab states could agree to have Libya host the summit, when it was clear to all that the Libyan regime was conspiring against Syria, Iran, and Lebanon, and is accused of the kidnapping of Imam Musa Al-Sadr, founder of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, in 1978.
