Lavrov: The G8 Not the Appropriate Forum for Discussing Iran's Nuclear Program

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said today (March 31, 2010) that the G8 was not the right forum to discuss the next steps to be taken vis-à-vis Iran's nuclear program, and that "it would be unethical for us to take a premature decision on this matter." He added that the appropriate forum for discussing this issue was the IAEA Board of Governors.
