Exposed Hizbullah Telephone Network Extends North, South

At its weekly session, the Lebanese government discussed the ongoing investigation of Hizbullah's recently exposed telephone system in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese Information Minister Razi Al-'Aridhi said that the investigation showed that the network covered areas north of the Litani River and south of Al-Zahrani to the Dhahiya region, and also some neighborhoods in Beirut. He said that this situation was grave and that it had nothing to do with the security of Hizbullah's leaders.

The government asked the investigative committee to continue its work and to submit to it the final report.
