Editor Of Bahrain Paper Investigated Following Investigative Article

The editor of the Bahrain daily Al-Ayyam has been released from an investigation to which he was summoned following the publishing of an investigative article in his paper.

The investigational article accused a Muslim Brotherhood member residing in Bahrain, Wajdi Ghanim, of incitement to extremism and of igniting ethnic war in the country.

The Bahraini Journalists Association expressed its protest against the investigation of the editor, claiming that it damaged democracy and freedom of expression.
