Iranian President to Tour Latin America

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is set to tour Latin America.

"On the first leg of the tour, President Ahmadinejad will be officially welcomed by his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez at Caracas international airport... and confer with the country's high ranking officials on issues of mutual interests.

"On Sunday, the Iranian president will leave Caracas for Managua in Nicaragua on the second leg of his trip... to confer with his Nicaraguan counterpart and the country's high ranking officials on expansion of cooperation between the two countries."

"On Sunday afternoon the president will arrive in Quito, Ecuador on the last leg of his trip to Latin America to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new Ecuador's president which will also be attended by heads of state from around the world."
