In Syria, Damascus Declaration Chairman Arrested

The chairman of Syria's National Council of the Damascus Declaration, the umbrella organization of Syrian opposition forces and parties, was arrested December 16 in Hama by Syrian security forces.

Dr. Fadaa Ikram Al-Hourani was then transferred to the state security general administration in Damascus.
