Fatah-Hamas Talks on Resolving Disagreement Over Hamas "Honoring" Agreements with Israel

In efforts to establish a Palestinian national unity government, Ahmad Yousef, advisor to Palestinian Prime Minister Isma'il Haniya, said that the talks between Fatah and Hamas were an attempt to resolve the disagreement over the question of whether Hamas would "honor" the agreements with Israel or be "bound" by them. Representatives of both sides are consulting with legal advisors in order to draw up a draft that will resolve the dispute.
