The Kuwaiti daily Al-Siyassa has reported, citing British diplomatic sources, that some 450 Lebanese Shi'ite operatives, most of them from Hizbullah and Amal, have been trained by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and sent to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, and Bahrain.

According to the report, the operatives have established units in these countries which incorporate local residents, with the aim of harming foreign interests and vital facilities in the event of conflict between Iran and Israel or the U.S.
