Iranian Daily: Don't Trust China, Russia

The Iranian daily Jomhouri-e Eslami has called on Iran not to count on diplomatic backing from China and Russia in the U.N. Security Council, after they supported, for strategic reasons, Resolution 1835 on sanctions on Iran.

For the same reason, Iranian MP Hashmatollah Falahat-Pisha assessed that Russia would not use its veto in Iran’s favor in the Security Council.
