Iranian Reactions to Gaza Events
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on the International War Crimes Court to file charges against the Israeli leaders, who are "war criminals and murderers," for their crimes in Gaza, and to send a warrant for their arrest via Interpol.
It was decided that the Iranian Foreign Ministry will appeal to the International War Crimes Court on this matter, that Iranian legal experts will prepare the indictment, and that Iranian President Ahmadinejad will contact world leaders to discuss the issue.

The Iranian website Raja News, affiliated with supporters of Ahmadinejad, called on the Muslim countries to take advantage of the fact that Israel is surrounded by Arab countries, which makes it possible to destroy it with ease.
IRGC official Abdollah Eraghi stated that many members of the Basij have volunteered to liberate Jerusalem.
The IRGC weekly Sobh-e Sadeq advised the Palestinians to carry out martyrdom operations, since they would be sore blows to Israel and the international community would receive them with understanding.
In Iranian universities, volunteers registered to carry out suicide operations against Israel (271 students registered in Amir Kabir University in Tehran).

Khamenei's chief security advisor Yahya Rahim Safavi accused the Arab countries of complicity in "the Zionist-American conspiracy against the Palestinians in Gaza," calling to close the Israeli embassies in Muslim countries and to boycott Israeli and American products.
Ali Saidi, Khamenei's representative in the IRGC, accused Egypt and Saudi Arabia of collaborating with the Israeli plot, and the IRGC weekly Sobh-e Sadeq likewise accused Egypt of exploiting its position vis-à-vis the Palestinians in order to humiliate them and curry favor with Israel and the U.S.
